Chinese Export Commodities Fair, also called Canton Fair, is held twice a year in spring and autumn respectively since it was initiated in 1957. With the most advanced level, largest number of ranges of goods and highest attendance rate among its kind, it is China’s largest trade fair that sees the biggest business turnover. Boasting a history of nearly 50 years, the fair is known as a comprehensive and multi-functional event of international importance.
Thousands of China’s best foreign trade corporations with good credibility and sound financial capabilities take part in the fair. These corporations include foreign trade companies, factories, scientific research institutions, foreign invested enterprises, wholly foreign-owned enterprises, private enterprises, etc. Besides the traditional way of negotiating against samples, it is held online too. Though import business is done here, the Fair leans toward exporting.
