The Macau Food Festival (MFF), a celebration of culinary diversity, will be held from Nov 7 to 23, alongside an electrifying motor racing Grand Prix.
Visitors can go to a gastronomic carnival which will be held on Sai Van Lake Square on the southern tip of the Macau Peninsula and treat yourself to all kinds of exotic foods and beverage, after a day of excitement at the racing circuit.
People can try a variety of regional and seasonal delicacies during the 17-day carnival.
This is the eighth anniversary of MFF. Apart a variety of cuisines-Cantonese, Sichuan, Shandong, Shanghai,Beijing, Yunnan, Southeast Asian, Indian- dishes from Taiwan will be served in the newly-built Taiwan Food Street, to promote mutual development with the tourism and beverage industry in Taiwan.
Over 20 famous establishments from Taiwan are expected to bring their specialties.
The Chio-Tian Folk Drums and Arts Troupe will also be invited to entertain the visitors with drumming, dancing, music and magic. There will also be several other free0to-join special activities.
Last year’s MFF (Nov 26 to Dec 2 ) witnessed more than 100 booths offering cuisine from home and abroad in the themed delicacy areas, such as the Macau areas, Asian Cuisine area, Greater China area, Portuguese and European area, Japanese and Korea area, and Dessert area.
