China Trade Show Guide

If you are preparing attending an exhibition, do remember to take the following things with you.

1. Boxes for collecting business cards. At an exhibition in China, small boxes can be seen on almost every reception desk. Some are made of organic glass, some are made of paper, and others are made of iron. On them are printed the following letters: "Please oblige me with your business cards" or "business cards collection". Exhibitors use this kind of boxes to get more contact information of purchasers. Since time is limited, it is impossible for exhibitors to talk with every viewer who is interested in their products in detail at the exhibition. After the exhibition however, exhibitors can categorize those business cards, put together those potential clients and then make phone calls or send emails to them according to the contact information written on those business cards.

2. Thermometers. If you choose to exhibit in a temporary outdoor exhibition hall, you have to pay attention to the control of temperatures inside in addition to the overall layout of the temporary exhibition hall and the budget you have to pay for your display. In fact, the temperature inside of most outdoor temporary exhibition halls can make you feel very comfortable. How to adjust temperatures in the room? It depends on the outdoor temperature at that time and how much time viewers will spend at the exhibition. Thermometers then become a necessity for an exhibition. In addition, some experts have pointed out that electric fans are the best choice to lower the temperature inside.

3. Electric outlets. All equipment that needs electricity, such as electric fans, lighting and audio equipment, needs electric outlets. If there are no electric outlets, there will be no power supply and everything is meaningless. Obviously one electric outlet is far from being enough, so you’d better take more than one with you. Certainly the prerequisite is that you use electricity in compliance with the rules of the exhibition.
