Exhibition Introduction:

Design Week is a one-week program which will comprise international forums and workshops, top material exhibitions, design tour and other networking activities. The six-day event explores the mutual influence of design and material products from a global perspective.

The forum promises to be one of 'the annual gatherings' for designers and architects from all over the world. Colleagues will meet to discuss the latest trends and their visions for China's design industry. The event is sure to improve the communication, cooperation and promotion of new design concepts amongst designers from all over the world.

During the past Design Week 2007, we first combined contract and design conference with two material products trade shows, Domotex Asia 2007 and R+T Asia 2007, which attracted over 1500 professional designer (60%), architects (30%), and real estate developers (10%), who are the decision makers of material product sourcing, the No. 1 target group of the exhibitors of the shows, to witness its success. During the conference, top architects, designers and companies presented case study of their current works by inspiring presentations and interactive question and answer sessions to hundreds of their enthusiastic colleagues. Both speakers and audiences alike positively fed back the conference.

Based on last 5 years successful experience, Design Week Expo 2008 will further explore the mutual influence of design and material products from a global perspective. Top designers like Zaha Hadid, Philippe Starck, Rem Koolhaas, who will be the key speakers of the conference as well as three world's leading construction industry trade shows which will bring global top manufactures together, will definitely fulfill the needs of local and international architects, designers, real estate developers and other construction industry stakeholders to get inspired by industry leading experts and to find the right products they're dreaming of.
