Yiwu, a small commodity market in China, is the largest market of consumer goods in the world. It now covers an area of 2,600,000 sqm, has more than 58000 business booths and employs more than 200,000 people. Passenger volume has reached up to more than 200,000 per day. It includes 43 industries, such as handicrafts, accessories, hardware and glassware, ect. In 2006, the turnovers of commodity market has reached to 41.8 billion yuan, with 31.5 billion yuan was done by Chinese small commodity market. During the industry competition held by the Chinese Convention in 2006, Yiwu was awarded "The Best 10 Convention Cities in Chinese Convention Industry".

Neighboring by Yiwu, Pujiang is a very developed industrial area in the middle of Zhejiang province. It is Characterized by handicrafts of crystal and glassware, which has the largest market share around the country. It was named " the Capital of Chinese Crystal and Glass".

The 3rd China Crystal and Glassware Exposition in 2007 has attracted more than 300 enterprises from 10 provinces to join in the exhibition. There were 15,000 professional visitors, among which 3,000 were foreign visitors.
